Obituary

Jeri MacBride, 64 of Chester County, passed away at her home on Friday, January 16, 2026 after a courageous five-year battle with Stage 4 Lobular Breast Cancer.

Jeri was born on April 3, 1961 in Darby, PA to James Russell Foreman and Virginia Simmons Foreman. She was the middle of three children, older sister Ginger and younger brother Andy. Jeri spent her childhood between Indiana, Texas, and Pennsylvania before ultimately graduating from Great Valley High School in 1979.

Jeri earned her computer science degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1983 and later earned her nursing degree from West Chester University in 2011. After working numerous jobs in IT and Healthcare, Jeri spent the last eight years of her career as an oncology nurse working at Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center.

Jeri is survived by her husband of 40 years, Glenn; her children, David (Lauren) and Rachel (Scott); her three grandchildren, Emerson, Charley and Gale; her parents, James and Virginia Foreman; and her siblings Ginger (Mike) and Andy (Tambralee).

Jeri’s kindness made the world a better place. She will be profoundly missed.

A visitation and memorial service celebrating Jeri’s life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church of West Chester (130 W. Miner St., West Chester, PA 19382). Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:15 am, with the memorial service to follow at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance in her memory
