Marion Brady Obituary

Marion Brady was born in Luzerne, PA on September 6, 1935 to Joseph and Frances Checkon. She met the love of her life, Joseph E. Brady, in 1951 and married him in 1955. They moved to the area of West Chester, PA and lived there until 1998.  She studied at and was graduated from Immaculata College in 1978 with a B.S. degree, while she held a full-time job and raised three children.  She retired from Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories in 1995, where she had served as a manager in the filling department.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph E. Brady, her children David Paul of Twin Mountain, NH, Thomas Joseph (spouse Amy Marie) of Newtown Square, PA, and Sean Richard (spouse Marty W) of Herndon, VA.  Marion is survived by 6 grandchildren and siblings Joseph Checkon of Mundelein, IL and Marcia Giannini of Diamond Bar, CA.

Marion lived her life as a beloved wife, loving mother, loyal friend, respected manager, and an amazing cook. She will be sorely missed.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church 15 East Pleasant Grove Rd West Chester, PA 19382; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, which will be livestreamed at the following link: https://stmax.org/live-mass

Interment will be private.
