Marie I. Zuravic

Marie I. Zuravic, age 73 of West Chester, PA passed away August 26, 2025 at Paoli Hospital’s Hospice Care.

She was the loving wife of Dennis M. Zuravic for over 37 years.

Born May 12, 1952 in Heidelberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Diego Ingaglio, DDS and the late Geraldine Capizzi Ingaglio.

Marie grew up on Roberts Avenue in Drexel Hill and graduated from Upper Darby High School, class of 1970.

She attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a BA in Languages and literature in 1974.

She was employed as a banking officer for numerous years, beginning at Industrial Valley Bank’s Central Mortgage division, as an Assistant Treasurer (Upper Darby), Germantown Savings Bank, as a Mortgage Accounting Officer (Bala Cynwyd), and Benchmark FCU, a subsidiary of Wyeth as a Senior Accountant (West Chester).

She enjoyed retirement, using all her skills as a gourmet chef of entrees and special desserts for family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by her sister, Francene Shiffler (late Paul) and nephews, John Shiffler and family of Hummelstown, PA and Matthew Shiffler and family of Fairbanks, Alaska.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Diego and Geraldine Ingaglio of Drexel Hill and Marmora, New Jersey.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitations on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:15 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 am.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA, following the Mass of Christian Burial.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Agnes Church
