Marie C. Martinelli

Marie C. Martinelli, 94 years old of West Chester, PA passed away Monday, September 5, 2022 at Pocopson Home, West Chester, PA.

She was the wife of the late Alfred “Marty” Martinelli, Sr.

Born July 8, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Francis Spadaro and the late Julia Jacovino Spadaro.

Marie graduated from Maria Goretti High School, Pierce College with an associate Degree. She worked for Bell TEL as an operator. Then she married and raised a family. Then she worked at Macy’s as an operator. 

After the passing of her husband, Marie moved to West Chester, PA and became a parishioner of SS. Peter & Paul Church, West Chester, PA; where she was the President of the Widow Support Group.

She enjoyed Bridge Club and playing Scrabble.

Marie is survived her 3 children; Alfred (Buddy) Martinelli Jr. (Susanne), Gregory Martinelli (Cheryl), Donna Maiale (Carlo), Her grandchildren; Alysha, (Mike), Michael (Jenny), Dara, and Leah. Great Grandchildren; Brea, Mia, and Mikaela. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Tony, Louis, Franny, Phyllis - Spadaro.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. 

Interment will be held in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
