Margaret Marie Beswick

Margaret Marie Beswick, 90 of West Chester, PA passed away Thursday February 27, 2025 at her home in West Chester.

She shared 52 years of marriage with the late Arthur L. Beswick Jr.

Born July 18, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles Kent and the late Margaret Rowbottom Kent.

Margaret was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, where she attended Ascension Elementary School before graduating from Little Flower High School.

She dedicated herself to raising her family, a role she embraced with love and devotion. Later in life, she worked as a Registrar at Chester County Hospital, where she served for over 20 years with kindness and dedication.

A faithful member of St. Agnes Church in West Chester, PA for over 56 years, Margaret found great comfort in her faith. She enjoyed spending time with Beck Williams, her dear friend and neighbor of 55 years, and cheering on the Phillies. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Margaret’s warmth, faith, and love for her best friend and husband, will always be remembered and celebrated by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Wayne (Sharon) Beswick, daughter, Kathleen (Frank) Cummins, son, Kenneth (Colleen) Beswick, son, Paul Beswick, daughter, Margaret (Charles Porter) Beswick; grandchildren, Keri (Gavin), Krista (Zach) Becca, Frankie (Kristi), Kenny Jr. (Devin), Jessica (Joe), Alyssa, Anna (Brian), Alexandra, Amanda; great grandchildren, Avery, Kylah, Jordan, Jaxson, Kenny III, Chase, Grace, Nora, Lennox; brother, Bill Kent and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kyle Charles Beswick, brother, Charles Kent, sister, Eleanor Werner, sister, Joan Purcell.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitations on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester, PA.
