Margaret E. Bell

Margaret Eileen Bell, 94 of West Chester, PA passed away Sunday August 22, 2021 at Barclay Friends in West Chester. 

She was the wife of the late Harold E. Bell Sr.

Born June 23, 1927 in Locust Grove, Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late Daniel Shellhammer and the late Louise T. Watkins Shellhammer Davies.

Margaret grew up in Philadelphia, PA.

She worked as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Pedersen in West Chester for many years.

Margaret was a member of The First Baptist Church of West Chester and the Kirkwood Fitness Center where she made many good friends.

She enjoyed traveling the United States with her husband Harold in their RV and visiting every state in the continental United States. She loved dancing, reading, sewing, crafting handmade cards and studying about Egypt.   

She is survived by her son, Harold E. Bell (Helen), Jr. of West Chester, PA, grandchildren, Matthew (Kimberly), Harold III (Amy), Jonathan (Nicole) and great-grandchildren, Ian, Sean, Nola, Elora & Jaden.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Donald.   

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Memorial Service Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380.

Interment will be held in Oaklands Cemetery West Chester PA.
