M. Elaine Davis

M. Elaine Davis, 75 of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Thursday October 3, 2019 at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, PA.

Born February 27, 1944 in Bryn Mawr, PA she was the daughter of the late John Raimo and the late Dorothy Heslip Raimo of Ardmore, Pa.

Elaine graduated from Archbishop Prendergast (now Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast) High School and attended summer sessions at Johnson & Wales University for course work in her chosen profession. 

Her chosen profession was as a pastry chef which she pursued at many well respected and popular restaurants in the greater Philadelphia area. She also participated as an instructional team member at Longwood Gardens Continuing Education class on bread making and general pastry.

She enjoyed preparing incomparable meals for special family events and especially desserts for these events. She was notably fond of gardening as well as watercolor painting of her beloved cultivated and wildflowers. She was also an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband Robert S. Davis, her three cherished children; Marie Beattie (Richard), Michael Rose (Sasha), and Dina Rankin (Dave). Her 8 grandchildren; Luca Rose, Sam Rose, Isabella Beattie, Sofia Rose, Harrison Beattie, Lachlan Rankin, Oliver Beattie, and Max Rose. Surviving siblings include Joann Hildebrand of West Chester, Tina Gulliford of Chester Springs, Mary Hummel of Flower Mound, TX and Ann Raimo of Downingtown as well as, many nieces and nephews.

Services and Interment will be private.
