Lynn Marie Wolf (Lasin), age 66, of West Chester, PA peacefully passed away at home with her husband on July 25, 2022. She was born on August 15, 1955 in Somerville, NJ.
Lynn married Donald Wolf in 1982 and they celebrated their 40th anniversary this past March. They met at West Chester State and were fortunate to meet many college friends that are still a part of their lives today. They settled in West Chester where they raised their two children; Sharon and Alison.
After college, Lynn worked at Penn Mutual Insurance before partnering with Don as owners of Davis Trophies where she worked until 2016 when she retired due to Alzheimer's. Apart from working, Lynn enjoyed serving at banquets and weddings at the Fame Fire Co., shopping with her daughters and friends, and dancing; she never heard a song she wouldn't dance to.
If you knew Lynn it was very evident that her greatest joy came with raising her family. Lynn was a selfless and devoted mom, and her two daughters Sharon and Alison were her world. Lynn was Brownie leader, home room mom, PTO officer, soccer mom, sleepover/dinner host on numerous occasions and everything else she could do to enrich her daughters lives. In August of 2012 she welcomed her first of 7 grandchildren and was given the title she long hoped for, Grammy.
In addition to her husband Don, she is survived by her daughters Sharon (Matt) Hazley and Alison (Scott) Kelley; grandchildren Jack, Brenna, Ellie, Wyatt, Nolan, Cole and Emerson; sister Lauren (Klaus) Tum of Clinton, NJ; father-in-law Robert Wolf, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Lynn is predeceased by her parents, Irene and George Lasin, her mother-in-law Doris Wolf, and brother-in-law Chris Wolf.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 9:00am - 10:45am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith Boyd Funeral Home Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380 610-696-1181 www.DellaFH.com; followed by her funeral service at 11am. The service will take place on Lynn’s birthday as a way to celebrate her life. Interment will be private.
