Luis F. Castro, de 57 años, residente de Malvern, Pensilvania, falleció el domingo 5 de octubre de 2025 en su hogar.

Nació el 21 de julio de 1968 en Ecuador, hijo de Julio Castro y Letitia López.

Le sobreviven sus hijos: Leonardo Gabriel Castro, Yomayra Milena Castro, Luis Fernando Castro y Nathaly Mirella Castro; sus nietos: Ian Gabriel Castro, Jesús Isael Castro, Neyzan Misael Castro, David Benjamín Curimilma, Mia Pauleth Gómez, Zhamira Mirely Mashumbra y su nieta política Scarleth Marbell Ojeda; y sus hermanos: Ángel Castro, Edgar Castro, y sus hermanos en Ecuador, Héctor Castro, Mario Castro, Luz Castro y Lucrecia Castro.

Luis llegó a los Estados Unidos en 1999, trabajando arduamente para criar y sostener a sus hijos que vivían en Ecuador. Amaba profundamente a su familia y se preocupó por ellos hasta el último día de su vida.

Trabajó en el campo de la construcción, especialmente en la albañilería, siendo un trabajador justo, responsable y un verdadero maestro en su oficio.

Luis fue un miembro activo de la Iglesia Católica, siempre participando con sencillez en comunidades y grupos.

Las comunidades de Paoli y Coatesville son testigos de su humildad y servicio en Lazos de Amor Mariano, Retiros, Encuentros, Rosarios Familiares, Meditación de la Palabra, entre otros.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a su velorio el viernes 10 de octubre de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 5:45 p.m., en DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, seguido de su Servicio Fúnebre a las 6:00 p.m.

El entierro se llevará a cabo en Ecuador.

Luis F. Castro, 57 of Malvern, PA passed away Sunday October 5, 2025 at his home.

Born July 21, 1968, in Ecuador, he was the son of Julio Castro and Letitia López.

Luis is survived by his children, Leonardo Gabriel Castro, Yomayra Milena Castro, Luis Fernando Castro and Nathaly Mirella Castro; grandchildren, Ian Gabriel Castro, Jesus Isael Castro, Neyzan Misael Castro, David Benjamin Curimilma, Mia Pauleth Gomez, Zhamira Mirely Mashumbra, Nieta Política Scarleth Marbell Ojeda; siblings, Angel Castro, Edgar Castro and siblings in Ecuador, Hector Castro, Mario Castro, Luz Castro, Lucrecia Castro

Luis came to the United States in 1999 working hard to raise his children who lived in Ecuador. He dearly loved his children and provided for and cared for them until the last day of his life.

He worked in construction, especially in masonry work, being a fair, responsible worker and master in his job.

Luis was an active member of the Catholic Church, always participating with simplicity in communities and groups.

The communities of Paoli and Coatesville are witnesses to his humility and service in Lazos de Amor Mariano, Retreats, Encounters, Family Rosaries, Meditation on the Word, etc.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 5:45 pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by his Funeral Service at 6:00 pm.

Burial will be in Ecuador.
