Luigina Morris

Luigina Morris, 82, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 10, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of Jim Morris, with whom she shared a loving marriage for over 60 years.

Born on July 7, 1944, in Roveredo in Piano, Italy, Luigina was the daughter of the late Antonio Pizzioli and the late Angela Assunta Cadelli.

Luigina was raised in Italy, where she met and fell in love with Jim, during his service in the United States Air Force. The couple married and welcomed their son, Jim, before moving to the United States in 1967. Together, they built a life on Long Island, New York, where they raised their family. In 2018, they relocated to West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Over the years, Luigina worked as a secretary, substitute teacher and dental assistant. She was a faithful member of St. Francis Cabrini on Long Island and later of St. Agnes Parish. She enjoyed playing cards and Mah Jongg, painting pottery and spending time with family and friends.

Above all, Luigina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from caring for her family and creating lasting memories with those she loved.

In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by her children, Jim (Dawn) Morris and Lisa (Chad) Bonsall; her cherished grandchildren, Julia, Jack, Jimmy, Michael and Sarah; her brother, Franco Pizzioli; and her sister, Eride Pizzioli.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Fabio Pizzioli.

Luigina will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to her family, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10:30 am St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester PA 19380       

Interment will be in Italy.
