Louise Ann Harris
October 2, 1950 ~ October 26, 2023 (age 73) 73 Years Old
Louise Ann Harris, 73, passed away peacefully at her home on October 26, 2023 with her devoted husband of nearly 50 years, Stephen H. Harris, by her side.
Born on October 2, 1950, she was the daughter of the late George Quinn and the late Elsie Butler Quinn, and the sister of the late George Kenneth Quinn. She was raised in Upper Darby, PA, where she graduated from Upper Darby High School and was a member of their Field Hockey team.
She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and devotion, having been a devoted wife, a nurturing mother to two beloved daughters, and a doting grandmother to four cherished grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. Louise is warmly remembered for her vibrant spirit and sharp sense of humor.
Her deep love for history, combined with her insatiable curiosity and competitive spirit, made her the reigning champion in family games of Trivial Pursuit. Her diverse interests included gardening, cooking, birdwatching, tennis, golf, skiing, bicycling, and passionately supporting her beloved Phillies. Louise's enduring spirit and rich passions have left an indelible imprint on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Alongside her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Shannon Harris and Casey Gallagher, as well as her son-in-law Christopher Gallagher, and her precious grandchildren, Sabrina, Olivia, Rhys, and Mackenzie.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at her visitation on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., located at 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
