Lorraine Moore Obituary

Lorraine R. Moore, 71 of West Chester, PA died on March 25, 2020 after a strong fight with metastatic breast cancer.

Lorraine had just celebrated 50 years of marriage to James T. Moore a few months prior.  

Born in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Josephine and William Rose.

She graduated from Catholic Central High School and Broom Tech Community College.

She worked in the insurance industry for 40 years. Her last few years of work was at Villa Maria Mother House with the IHM Sisters.

Lorraine, who was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, had a very strong and close relationship with God.

She had a great love of cooking and baking, especially Christmas cookies. She adored spending time with her grandchildren and going up to New York to see her family. She loved walking and getting together with friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Laura and son-in law Timothy, and their 3 children Gavin, Travis and Josephine.

Due to the current circumstances a Mass and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
