Lois A. Braun

Lois A. Braun, 79, of West Chester, died peacefully Monday October 11, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family and caregivers.

She is survived by her husband René J. Braun whom she has been married to for over 59 years.

Born August 30, 1942 in Riverside, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Albert Placente and the late Lucy Hall Placente.

Lois grew up in Burlington, New Jersey and graduated from Burlington High School.

Lois worked as an Office Manager for a number of local companies in West Chester throughout her career.

Lois enjoyed sitting outside watching the variety of birds and local wildlife in her yard.  She also enjoyed reading, travelling, and visiting the local casinos. As an avid pet lover, she not only had her own pets which she loved dearly, but also had a fondness for all the dogs that lived in the neighborhood. One of her greatest joys in life was watching her two grandsons grow up into young adults. They always put a sparkle in her eyes.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Robert J. Braun and his wife Silja, Linda A. Orozco and her husband John, and her grandchildren, Christoffer Braun, and Tristan Braun. 

She was preceded in death by brothers, Roland Placente, and David Placente.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 2:00 - 2:45 pm, followed by her Memorial Service at 3:00 pm at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com. Her interment will be in private.
