In Loving Memory of Lillian A. Rizzetto
July 28,1930 - May 29, 2025
Lillian A. Rizzetto of West Chester, PA, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully at home on May 29, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. She was 94.
Born July 28, 1930 in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinando Rizzetto and the late Virginia Scarabello Rizzetto, proud immigrants from Breda di Piave, Treviso, Italy.
Lillian grew up in Allentown and completed her high school education at William Allen High School. Throughout her life, she was a dedicated and hardworking woman. She began her career as a seamstress and later worked as a waitress at the Allentown Italian Club as well as several other establishments. In the later years, Lillian worked as an administrative assistant for Lehigh Valley Respiratory and Medical Aids, Inc. A woman of quiet faith, she was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel of Allentown, where she sang in the choir and played the organ.
She lived a life marked by resilience, strength and unwavering love for those around her. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. An avid gardener, she loved nothing more than puttering around in the backyard. However, her greatest joy came from her grandsons. She was especially grateful for the gift of living with them as they grew up and watching them play sports. She was their biggest fan, cheering them on with the spirit of a true competitor - a spirit she carried from her younger years playing basketball, baseball and bowling.
She leaves behind a legacy of strength, warmth, and grace. Her memory will live on in every flower that blooms, every game cheered, and every act of kindness and courage.
She is survived by her daughter, Audra A. Riley and her husband Thomas, grandchildren, Matthew Riley and Connor Riley.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Edwin Rizzetto, and Dominic Rizzetto.
Relatives and friends of Lillian are invited to her visitation on Friday June 20, 2025 from 10-10:45 A.M. at Saint Agnes Parish, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Interment will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Chester Area Senior Center, 530 E Union St, West Chester, PA 19382.
