Laura Jean Cress

Laura Jean Cress, 63, of West Chester, PA died peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 surrounded by her beloved family. She was the wife of Bryan L. Cress.

She worked for 22 years as a Human Resources Manager for Delphinus Engineering Inc. in Eddystone, PA.

Laura was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and sang in the Church Choir. She enjoyed singing, the beach, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, Laura is survived by her son, Ryan Cress, his wife Melanie Cress, and their children Isaac and Lila Cress; her son Daniel Cress, his wife Tara Cress, and their children Violet and James Cress; her daughter Amanda Cress, her son Adam Cress, and her son Sean Cress. She is also survived by her brother Paul Macdonald and her sisters Kathy Burns and Stephie Schmitt.

She was preceded in death by her father Bernard Sharon and her sister Janet Haase.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church, 730 South New Street West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed here

Interment will be in Calvary Lutheran Columbarium.
