Karen Griffin Obituary

Karen Scott Griffin, 70 of Downingtown, PA passed away Saturday January 9, 2021 at her home.

Karen was born on May 11, 1950 and grew up in Kewanee, Illinois. She moved to West Chester after graduating from High School.

Karen worked full time while attending college at Immaculata and Villanova Universities where she eventually earned a graduate degree. She had a long career at Gaudenzia, Inc.

Karen enjoyed travel and music and applied her talents to home decorating and crafts.

In addition to David Griffin, her husband of 42 years, she is survived by her sister, Debbie Cordrey (late husband Roy) and brother, Gary Scott (Janet) all of Kewanee, Illinois. Brother in laws Stephen Griffin of Malvern, Daniel Griffin (Sharon) of Shoemakersville, and sister-in-law Cynthia Griffin (Eric Rankin) of Morgantown, West Virginia. She is also survived by a niece, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Walter Scott and a brother Charles Scott.

Services and Interment will be private.
