Julia F. Glass, 82 of West Chester, PA died Thursday, March 12, 2020 peacefully surrounded by her family at her home.
She was the wife of Clarence Thomas Glass, Jr. for 62 years
Born April 12, 1937 in Dubois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward B. Bridge and the late Helen Yates Bridge.
Julia graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School, St. Mary’s, PA Class of 1955 and attended Airline Ticket Office School.
She had worked at Pepperidge Farm in the Quality Control Department for 26 years
Julia was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Chester, PA for over 55 years and was a volunteer for The Second Reading Book Store in West Chester for over 20 years and a Volunteer for St Agnes Church
She enjoyed being with her family, camping, traveling, photography and crocheting
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Thomas E. (Donna) of Newark DE, Mary Alice Fisher (J.Scott) of Wilmington DE, Suzanne M. Tronco (Hank) of Springfield, PA, Daniel G. (Barb) of Coatesville, PA, Christine M. Panzram (the late Jeffrey K. Panzram) of Tampa, FL, Paul M. (Lara Saxton) of Kennett Square, PA. Julia has 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert E. Bridge of West Chester, PA, James B. Bridge of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, Her sisters, Constance B. Short of Albuquerque, New Mexico, H. Catherine Yankech of Charlotte, NC, Mary M. Hylwak, of Wilmington DE and Jeanie-Marie Perks of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 9:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
