Josephine R. Maggitti

Josephine R. Maggitti of West Chester. 

Josephine R. Maggitti, 89 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully Friday, November 29, 2019 at Barclay Friends in West Chester. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Maggitti Jr. 

Born February 1, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Aquilino Tinari and the late Lucy Maimone Tinari. 

She was a 1948 graduate of West Catholic Girls High School. 

Josephine loved caring for her family and had worked as a Secretary for Delaware County Community College, Media, PA. After retiring, Josephine enjoyed volunteering at Chester County Hospital. 

She was a member of St Agnes Church in West Chester. 

Josephine is survived by her children, Lawrence Maggitti III, Michael Maggitti (Tammy), Karen Hart and son-in-law Thomas Hart; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail, Mikayla, Rebekah, and Kassidy; brothers Nick Tinari and Joe Tinari. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 10:30 am – 11:30 am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30am.  

Interment will be held in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery & Garden Mausoleum Springfield, PA.
