Joseph A. Taylor

Joseph A. Taylor, 73 of Downingtown, PA passed away Monday December 16, 2024 at West Chester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in West Chester.

He was the husband of Sandra L. Taylor.

Born May 2, 1951 in West Chester, PA and graduated from Henderson High School. He worked as a mechanic for PennDOT in West Chester for 25 years. He enjoyed caring for his family,

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his two sons, Joseph J. Taylor and Jason Taylor, both of Downingtown, as well as his four grandchildren, Austin Nettles of Coatesville, Brett Nettles of Bridgeport, and Bella and Savannah Taylor of Downingtown.

Joseph is also survived by a brother, James Taylor of Bonita Springs, FL, and sisters, Carol Karpuk of Denton MD and Katherine Lozier and Faith McCormick, both of Cape Coral FL.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Caroline Taylor and his daughter, Jennifer Ellsworth.   

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11:00 am - 11:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 pm.

Interment will be in the Green Mount Cemetery West Chester, PA.
