Joseph T. Vanore, 43 of West Chester, PA (originally of Southwest Philadelphia) passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home in West Chester.
Born April 14, 1977 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late William J. Vanore and Carmel M. Pedulla Vanore.
Joseph was a graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic High School in 1995, and received his dual bachelor's degrees (Computer Science and Operations and Information Management) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999.
Joseph worked as a Software Architect for over 21 years at Moody's Analytics.
He enjoyed all sports (most importantly Philadelphia's Eagles, Flyers, 76ers and Phillies). Joseph spent a lot of time with family and friends singing karaoke, playing trivia and games, going to movies, watching TV shows, and traveling. He also enjoyed reading, programming, and solving puzzles, logic problems and riddles. He loved to eat (especially his mom's cooking), drink and be merry!
He is survived by his mother, Carmel M. Vanore and by his siblings: Dawn (Rich) Balchunas, Lori (Michael) Cornish, Gina (Thomas) Mattia, Bill Vanore, Salvatore (Carolyn) Vanore, Geri Vanore (Cedric). John Vanore (Mike).
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews (Lori Richardson, Joseph Quinn, Kristin Chinn, Michael Cornish, Kirsten Peterson, Kristy Franco, Shannon Quinn, Keith Cornish, Eric Richardson, Lexi Cornish, Courtney Quinn, Billy Vanore, Sean Vanore, Gianna Vanore, Sophia Mattia, Bella Vanore, Alyssa Vanore, Tommy Mattia, Sal Vanore Jr., Chase Peterson, Charleigh Chinn, Ryder Sesko, Gia Sesko, and Torren Peterson), and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, friends and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his father, William, and grandparents James and Jenny Pedulla.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 9:30 am - 11:45 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W.
