Joseph A. Hassler, Jr.

Joseph A. Hassler, Jr., 83, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital.

Born in Salem, NJ, Joe was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred Hassler. He was the beloved husband of Ginny Hassler, and together they recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.

Joe was a proud graduate of Villanova University and served in the U.S. Air Force. He went on to work as an electrical engineer at Unisys Corporation, where he retired as a Director. In retirement, he enjoyed spending summers in Ocean City, NJ and later winters in Marco Island, FL.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his wife, Ginny, he is survived by his children Dawn (Jim), Wendy (Greg), and Greg (Jen); his grandchildren Kaitlin, Anna, Kyle, Lily, and Julia; as well as three sisters and four brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church West Chester, PA.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joe’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
