Joseph F. Donia III

Joseph F. Donia III, 44, of Douglassville, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at his home.

Born on January 17, 1980, in West Chester, PA, Joseph was the son of Joseph F. Donia Jr. and Trudy J. McAlpine Simpson.

Joseph grew up in West Chester and studied at Villanova University.

For over 19 years, Joseph worked at Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. in Malvern, PA, where he held roles as a senior commissioning engineer and IT analyst. His colleagues and peers recognized his remarkable dedication and work ethic.

Joseph had a passion for travel, exploring destinations both across the U.S. and abroad. He enjoyed mountain biking, often riding along the Perkiomen Trail, and camping overnight on beaches.

Music was a central part of Joseph’s life. He loved DJing in clubs, attending festivals and composing electronic music in his home studio. He was highly skilled in designing and building electronics that interfaced with his synthesizers and mixers, blending his technical expertise with creative artistry.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by two brothers, eight cousins, aunts, uncles, and two grandparents.

He was preceded in death by his long-time girlfriend.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., located at 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380 (610-696-1181 | www.DellaFH.com) His Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester, PA.

Joseph will be remembered for his dedication, creativity, and the joy he brought to those around him.
