John "Jack" C. Maynard

John C. Maynard of Downingtown.

John C. “Jack” Maynard, 78 of Downingtown, PA died Tuesday November 10, 2020 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr.

He was the husband of Karen Moerlins Maynard.

Born June 22, 1942 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Roger D. Maynard and the late Margaret Hilsinger Maynard.

In 1960 he graduated from Henderson High School. He attended Drexel University and in 1965 graduated from Ursinus College. After graduation he served his country as a quartermaster in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Over the years John worked in personnel and purchasing for several local companies.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children James Maynard (Lauren, and child John), Mary Faunce (John), and John “Andy” Maynard.

Services and interment will be private.
