Obituary
John R. Landan III, 52, of Glenmoore, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at his home.
Born March 15, 1974, in Bryn Mawr, PA, he was the son of John R. Landan Jr. and Irene Schaefer Landan.
John graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in 1992 and attended Bloomsburg University, where he studied fine arts. A master carpenter and builder, he worked for several builders before starting his own business and continued working as a subcontractor after the COVID-19 pandemic.
John was also an accomplished Coach horn player and Four-in-Hand whip. He participated in numerous shows and driving events from Newport, RI to Richmond, VA.
He enjoyed riding his Harley and playing pool.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Xavier Landan; his sisters, Laura Landan Koppell (Philip), Marcia Landan DiGiallorenzo (Russell), Deborah Landan Spranger (Tilo), and Sara Lyn Landan Basagoitia (Jose); and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
