Jeffrey C. Huss, 68 of West Grove, PA, loving husband of Terri (Mathewson) Huss, passed away on Tuesday June 11, 2024 at his home.
Born July 20, 1955 in West Chester, PA he was the son of Charles Huss and Eileen Sylvester Huss. Jeffrey grew up in West Chester and graduated from Henderson High School.
While also being a volunteer firefighter in West Chester, he began his professional career at the Chester County Courthouse, working his way to the position of Court Administrator. It was at the Courthouse that he met the woman that would become his wife. Their lifelong courtship began with a date to a baseball game in 1980. In 1981 they were married at the very courthouse where they met.
From the court system he moved his family to Phoenix, Arizona where he operated his own real estate Virtual Tour company. Gaining a love of real estate through this venture, they returned to Pennsylvania where he became a full-time realtor, a career he enjoyed that provided him with lifelong relationships.
The most important things in the world to him were taking care of his family and spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Chloe and Luke. Jeff was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. His free time was spent enjoying day trips with his wife; his favorites were whale watching in Cape May, going to Phillies’ games, and trips to the beach with their beloved Maltese and Yorkie dogs.
To forever cherish his memory, in addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kristen (Matt) Murphy of West Grove, grandchildren Chloe and Luke Murphy, Jeffrey (Haleigh) Huss of San Diego, brother Greg (Kathy) Huss, sisters Sharon (Tom) Brewer, Karen (Brian) Pyle, and brother Brian (Debbie) Huss. Jeff is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
