Jeffrey R. Melasecca, age 42, of West Chester, PA.
Our hero passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 after a five-year hard fought battle with stage IV Colorectal cancer. He was the husband of Meredith R. Moore Melasecca.
Born July 22, 1976, he was the son of John C. Melasecca Jr. and Nancy A. Falco Melasecca both of Thornton, PA.
Jeffrey grew up in Thornton, PA and graduated from West Chester East high school (1995), attended Wesley College and graduated from Wilmington University.
Jeffrey loved basketball and played on many teams from grade school through college. His passion and love of the game continued with coaching his son, even during his long fight.
Upon graduating college, he founded All Star Window Cleaning and Pressure Washing, a business with customers that he truly enjoyed working with over the last 20 years.
A member of St. Agnes Church, His faith and support from many family members, friends, medical staff and customers helped him each and every day of his long battle. He will forever be remembered as a sincere, kind, giving, and loving family man. A true gentleman in business, and a courageous, determined, fierce competitor that never understood what it meant to quit. Loved by so many, an inspiration to all who knew him, he will never be forgotten.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey Jr., daughter Ava, his three brothers John C. Melasecca III (Angela) of Hockessin, DE, Joseph N. Melasecca (Marion) of Landenberg, PA, Michael F. Melasecca (Amy) of Kennett Square, PA, and many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 8:00 am – 11:45 am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon.
Interment will be in Birmingham-Lafayette Cemetery, West Chester PA.
