Janet Mary Dodds, 77 of Downingtown, PA died Tuesday March 3, 2020 at Penn Medicine Hospice at Chester County, West Chester, PA

She was the wife of the late Charles H. Dodds. Janet had known Charles since she was 15 years old. They are now back together again; at peace.

Born September 29, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. Sleeth and the late Elizabeth Schuster Sleeth.

Janet graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School (Prendie), Drexel Hill, PA.

She retired from Kmart in West Chester, PA after serving 18 years as Personnel Manager.

Janet was a member of St. Peter Church in West Brandywine, PA where she was an past member of the Silver Linings Retirement Group.

Most importantly, her family meant the world to her. In the end, they were everything; she lived for them.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary E. Dodds of Downingtown, PA; son, Charles H. Dodds, Jr. of Cape May, NJ; cousins, who were like siblings to her, Megan, Jean, Joe and Charles.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Peter Church, 2835 Manor Rd., West Brandywine, PA 19320; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be held in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield PA.
