Jane A. Shiffer of Exton.

Jane A. Shiffer, 83 of Exton, PA died Thursday June 28, 2018 at Exton Senior Living in Exton.

She was the wife of the late Franklin E. Shiffer.

Born July 8, 1934 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Jesse Taylor Buxton and the late Katherine Irwin Buxton.

Jane was a graduate of West Chester High School Class of 1952. She was employed by Philadelphia Electric Company in Coatesville, PA and had worked at Longwood Gardens as a housekeeper.

She was Co- President of the Unionville Community Fair and enjoyed collecting antique kitchen items.  She was president of the UnionvilleMothers club.

She loved to bowl and participated in a bowling league at West Goshen Lanes. 

Jane is survived by her daughter, Susan L. MacGuinness and her husband Stephen.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitations on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6 pm - 8 pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com;  and on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10 am - 11am followed by her Funeral Service at 11 am.

Interment will be held in Chester County Memorial Gardens.
