James “Hutch” Hutchinson, 58 of West Chester, PA died suddenly on Wednesday October 30, 2024.
He was the husband of Suzie (Suzanne) Weiser Hutchinson with whom he shared 29 adventurous years.
Born October 19, 1966 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Bradford M. Hutchinson Jr. and the late Virginia Jones Hutchinson.
Jim lived his entire life in West Chester. He graduated from West Chester East High School and then went to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America where he began his trade. He worked as a Union Carpenter for 34 years where he met many lifelong friends and learned many different skills. He retired as a Master Carpenter from Local 465 in 2020.
He enjoyed hunting with his best friend, fishing, and getting out on the open road with his Harley. He always had a project he was working on, the latest being restoring a 1956 F-100. He loved to travel and take his family to see the world. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and was always willing to lend a hand to others when they needed it.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Victoria Hutchinson and Rebecca Hutchinson, and his dog Kaci Belle. He is also survived by his brother, Steven B. Hutchinson, two nieces, and father-in-law.
A Celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024 from 1-5pm at the VFW Post 106 837 Lincoln Ave. West Chester, PA.
