James T. Webb, 89 of Berwyn, PA passed away Wednesday January 3, 2024 at the Wayne Center.
He was the husband of Joan Webb (Geary).
Born March 14, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late James E. Webb and the late Elmira Chester Webb.
James grew up in Upper Darby and graduated from Sharon Hill High School.
He worked as an Artist/Designer for Piasecki Aircraft and Boeing. He considered himself an Urban Artist. Later in life he retired as a Federal Officer working at the Smithsonian.
He was a proud Veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea.
James was a member of Saint Monicas and a Free Mason.
He enjoyed anything with the Arts. An accomplished painter and sketcher as well as wood working, quilting and folk art.
In addition to his wife Joan Geary, James is survived by daughter Sandra Dunn, son Scott and wife Lisa Webb, stepdaughter Susan Kufuss, grandchildren John Dunn and wife Kimberly, Cynthia Dunn, Jennifer Durbin and husband Steve Jimenez, Jeffrey Dunn, Brendan Webb and wife Sierra, Mitchell Webb and wife Sierra, Zachary Webb and wife Jordan, Carrie Meheen and husband Greg, great grandchildren John Dunn Jr, Kariana Dunn, Kayla Dunn, EvaJean Durbin, Samuel Durbin, Zachary Durbin, Quinn Webb, Callie Webb, Collins Webb, Samson Webb, Brandon Bainbridge and Matthew Meehan and great great grandchildren Kamdym Dunn and Athena Meehan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Webb and Elmira Chester, second wife, Alice Cooper, son, Steven Webb, step daughter, Sharon Cooper and grandson Cade Meehan
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Monica Church 63 Main Ave Berwyn, PA 19312, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
