James Francis Duffy

James Francis Duffy, 62 of Lancaster, PA passed away Friday January 24, 2025 at his home. 

Born May 11, 1962 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Albert J. Duffy and the late Ida Jane Casperson Duffy.

James grew up in West Chester and went to Bishop Shanahan High School and got his GED early before graduation, so he could enter the Marine Corps.

He worked as an Arborist for several companies, most notably Bartlett Tree Service.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing guitar and listening to music, fishing and studying history.

James is survived by his daughter, Sarah A. Duffy, his grandchildren Paige and Ripley, as well as his siblings, Joe, Joel, Phil and Theresa Duffy. 

He was preceded in death by his brother William Duffy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester PA 19380. 

Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park Frazer PA.
