Irma I. Cimini

Irma Izzi Cimini, 104, of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025 at the Dunwoody Care Center in Newtown Square, PA. 

Born in Bridgeport, PA,  Irma was the daughter of the late Antonio and Adelina (née Mattioli) Izzi of West Chester.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cimini, whom she shared 57 years of marriage. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Jessie A. Howe and her brothers, Dorino, Michael, John, Joseph, and Anthony Izzi. 

Irma was a graduate of West Chester High School and retired after 30 years as a Customer Service Representative for Exports in the Petroleum Chemical Department at E.I. Du Pont in Wilmington, DE.  Prior to her career at E.I. DuPont, Irma worked as a Home Life Insurance Agent and as a Rations Clerk during WWII at the Daniel Field Air Force Base in Augusta, GA.

Irma was an avid tennis player, and enjoyed traveling, reading, music and keeping up with current events. She had an exceptionally close relationship with all her nieces and nephews and was an inspiration to them, and to all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday January 15, 2026 from 10-10:45am at the St. Agnes Church, 233 West Gay Street, West Chester, PA.19380, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the dedicated skilled nursing staff at the Dunwoody Care Center in Newtown Square, PA and Main Line Hospice for their support and compassion while caring for Irma. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Irma’s name to St. Agnes Church at the above address.
