Helen Yorke

Helen Yorke, 93 of West Chester, PA passed away Thursday August 8, 2024 at her home.

She was the wife of the late Walter Yorke.

Born January 22, 1931 in New York, NY she was the daughter of the late Cecil Sculthorpe and the late Helen Slane Sculthorpe.

Helen grew up in New York and New Jersey, and graduated from Long Branch High School. She then entered the nursing program at Lenox Hill. She worked at Chester County Hospital and was a nurse throughout her life.

Helen was a member of St. Agnes Church West Chester, PA.

She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, and listening to music.

Helen is survived by her son, Andrew Yorke and brother, Howard Sculthorpe.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Sculthorpe and sister, Agatha Lastella.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester, PA.
