Harold J. Vaughn

Harold J. Vaughn, 88 of Kennett Square, PA died Friday November 25, 2022, at his home at Brandywine Living at Longwood, in Kennett Square, PA.

He was the husband of the late Marlene Frankenstein Vaughn.

Born January 13, 1934, in Wampum, PA, he was the son of the late Robert J. Vaughn and the late Wilda M. Shaffer Vaughn.

A devout Christian, Harold was a member of Meadowcroft Presbyterian Church where he had served on the mission committee.

He served in the U.S. Army, rising to the rank of Sergeant First Class.

Harold dedicated his career working for the Sun Oil Co., where he retired as the Vice-President Sunoco/President Atlantic Oil.

He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, his weekly Bible study, talking with friends, and most of all spending time with his family.

Harold is survived by his children, Brian H. Vaughn and his wife Shelley R. Vaughn, Lora V. Rosecrans and her husband John W.G. Rosecrans; grandchildren, Victoria M. Vaughn, Evan B. Vaughn, Julia M. Vaughn, Grant J. Vaughn; and his sisters- Sara Lohr of Batavia, IL and Elinor Caldwell of DuBois, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM at Meadowcroft Presbyterian Church 1255 South Westtown Road West Chester, PA 19382 followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery West Chester PA.
