Gloria grew up in Fairless Hills, PA and graduated from Pennsbury High School.

Gloria married her beloved husband Frank Sarr on August 25, 1962, in Fairless Hills, PA.

Their life together took them from Ohio to Pennsylvania and then to Granby Connecticut where they settled down and raised their four children.

Gloria’s full-time job was to manage the very busy Sarr household and what an incredible job she did. After the children were raised Gloria worked at Dr Russe’s Optometry office in Granby where she then took take care of her hometown friends. Gloria was always taking care of everyone around her.

Annual summer family vacations to Ocean City NJ were always a highlight of the Sarr family year. Gloria spent her retirement years traveling all over the country to visit her children and grandchildren.  Gloria and Frank took a very special trip to Londrina, Parana Brazil to visit with a dear friend and her family who became part of the Sarr family after their visit.

Gloria was a sports enthusiast; she loved playing tennis and mahjong, cheering her children on enthusiastically in all of their sports and later cheering her grandchildren on.  She loved watching UConn basketball and professional tennis on television in her later years.
