Geraldine Elizabeth Dickinson Brown, born on July 19, 1943, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and passed away on August 12, 2026, in Wilmington, Delaware, lived a life marked by love, kindness, and generosity. She departed this world of natural causes, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Geraldine was the kind of person who reminded others that a life well lived is not measured only by years, but by the heart, the courage, and the care shared along the way.

Geraldine carried herself with quiet strength and steady grace. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she poured her time and energy into the people she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Brown, whose memory remained an important part of her story. She is survived by her children, Judith A. Bramley, Michael W. Brown, Patricia L. Hamby, and Teresa Tucker and her husband Bruce. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Brian D. Bramley, Mark A. Reidy, Amanda M. Anderson and her husband Ryan, Jacob Brown, Jessica L. Hamby, Hannah Brown, and Lindsey Brown, as well as her great-grandchildren, Brayden Bramley, Julien Bramley, Avery Anderson, Adam Anderson, and Rae Lynn Anderson.
Her family was her greatest accomplishment, and she showed through her life that love is built through presence, patience, and devotion.

Geraldine worked at Fujirebio Diagnostics as a lab tech before retiring, and she approached her work with the same dependability and care that she brought to every part of her life. Her contribution to her workplace reflected a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to do her part with excellence.

Outside of work, Geraldine embraced the simple joys that made life rich and meaningful. She enjoyed bingo, crafts, bottle digging, thrifting, and time with family. These interests were more than hobbies, because they were expressions of her spirit. She found happiness in discovery, creativity, and connection. She knew how to appreciate the treasure in everyday moments, whether it was the excitement of finding something special while thrifting, the satisfaction of a craft project, or the laughter shared during family time. Her life teaches us that joy does not have to be loud to be real, and that some of the most beautiful memories are made in ordinary moments.

Those who knew Geraldine would describe her as loving, kind, and generous, and those words speak truthfully to the way she moved through the world. She gave encouragement freely, cared deeply for others, and made people feel seen and valued. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday August 19, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380 followed by her Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon.

Interment will be in Philadelphia Memorial Park Frazer, PA
