George Nicholas “Nick” aka "Mellon" Dowell, 37 years old, of Landenberg, PA passed away Thursday February 24, 2022 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester
Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of Myrlan E. Dowell and Linda S. Cornett Dowell. Nick grew up in Landenberg.
He attended Kennett High School, and also Delaware Technical Community College and earned his certification for HVAC, Heating and AC.
Nick worked in the HVAC industry for several years. He was a great handyman and was always concocting fixer upper projects around the home.
He enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles and hanging with friends and playing with his dog. Nick had a heart of gold and was willing to help anyone in need. He loved his family, friends, and his dog Nova with all of his heart. His smile and sense of humor will be sincerely missed by all. He could always come up with some crazy antic to make anyone laugh.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Lucas (Jennifer) Dowell of New Britain, and his twin sister, Heather Dowell. He is also survived by his grandmother, Shirley (Kelcie) Grey of Elkton, Md
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Matthew Steven Dowell, Myrlan Eugene Dowell, II, and his grandparents Eula and Myrlan Dowell and Arlie Cornett.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380 610-696-1181; www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Funeral Service at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
