Obituary
Gary P. Smith, 89 of West Chester, PA died Thursday September 14, 2023 at his home.
He was the husband of the late Thelma M. Williams Smith.
Born July 14, 1934 in Shade Gap, PA he was the son of the late Ray Donald Smith and the late Stella Maria Berrier Smith.
Gary worked as a Laborer for the Denny Reyburn Company for 25 years. He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows- Malvern Pocahontas Lodge #201, Chosen Friends Encampment #88 and was a cigar aficionado.
He was a member of Christ Community Church of West Chester.
He is survived by his sons, Donald Smith and Fiancé Janet Ball, Ronald Smith, and his wife Linda, step grandson, William Laird, and his wife Cait, step great grandchildren, Carter and Chase, and a brother, Jay Smith.
He was preceded in death by daughter in law, Vicki Lynn McConaghy.
Services and interment will be private.
