Frank D. McAdams

Frank D. McAdams, 85 of West Chester, PA passed away Friday October 3, 2025 at the St. Joseph’s Villa in Flourtown.

He was the husband of Jo Anne McDonald McAdams.

Born January 23, 1940 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Frank Joseph McAdams and Helen Tierney McAdams.

Frank grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Father Judge High School in 1957, their first graduating class. He went on to earn his associate degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University.

Over the years, Frank worked in several roles, beginning as a meat cutter at ACME Markets and later serving as a Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor. He went on to build a successful career as a dedicated manager for the Gagliardi Brothers Company and Tri-State Technical Sales in Malvern, PA.

Frank was a devoted member of St. Agnes Church in West Chester and lived his faith through kindness, hard work, and generosity.

A lifelong member of the Boy Scouts, Frank participated for over 65 years and took great pride in mentoring younger generations. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and taking cruises with his wife and loved ones.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, JoAnne (Edward) Osborn; his son, James McAdams, and his grandchildren Maureen, Heather (Nicholas Ward), Caitlin (Matthew Lynes), Jaime; and great grandchild Dawson Lynes; and siblings Helen Fallon (Michael), Sr. Helen Loretta IHM, Sr. Ann McAdams SSJ, James (Dolores), David (Nancy), Marylou Palilonis (Charles), Robert (Eileen), and Therese.

He was preceded in death by son, Francis David (Bob) McAdams; great grandson Adler Lynes; and sister Patricia McAdams.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 1:30 pm – 2:15 pm at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Mass at 2:30 pm.

Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester, PA.
