Frances Ann Grekila

Frances Ann Grekila, 94 years old of  Exton , PA passed away Sunday May 31, 2026 at  Morningside House of Exton.

Born January 22, 1932 in Butler, PA she was the daughter of the late Francis Guy Barnard and the late Helen Lucille Tebay Barnard.

Frances grew up in Butler, PA with her sister Jane.

She had a life long love of music and even briefly explored a career in music at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She moved to Pittsburgh when she married Richard Briggs Grekila. Before they divorced, they had two children: Jon Henry Grekila (deceased) and Richard Barnard Grekila.

She is survived by her son, Richard ; daughter-in-law, Kristy Cowper Grekila; sister, Jane Higley Varley; her loving nieces and nephews, Anne Varley, Ken Varley, Suzy Morris, and Judy Scaramuzza. 

Services and Interment will be private.
