Eleanor Suder (née Porbacki), of West Chester, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Born in 1937 in Philadelphia, Eleanor spent much of her life there before settling in West Chester, where she continued to share her warmth, wisdom, and kindness with those around her.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph and is survived by her children Mark (Debbie), Michele (Ken), and Monica (Carl), as well as her dear sisters, Barbara (Don) and Henrietta (Earl). Eleanor was the cherished mom-mom to Jack (Kerry), Amanda, Candice, Erin (Zach), Steven, and Rebecca—each of whom she lovingly called her favorite. Her love extended beyond her family to her adored grand-puppies and grand-kitties, who brought her endless joy.
Eleanor lived a life filled with curiosity and passion. As the first in her family to obtain a driver’s license, she embraced adventure and independence. She found immense joy in the company of her family and countless friends, especially atholidays when she always made sure someone left with a prize. An avid reader, expert baker, and master of any craft she set her mind to, Eleanor had a lifelong thirst for learning.
