Eleanor Marie Grabowski

Eleanor Marie Grabowski, 91 of Chester Springs, PA passed away Sunday February 9, 2025, in Paoli Hospital.

Born June 21, 1933, in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of the late John Riego and the late Mary Matvija Riego.

Eleanor grew up in Cleveland, OH and came to Pennsylvania in the 1970s. She started her career at American Airlines before moving on to serve as a secretary at Otis Elevator. Later, she worked in administrative support at AT&T. After retirement at AT&T, she enjoyed her work at the Chester County Library.

She enjoyed puzzles, reading, gardening, baking, and cooking. She especially loved watching Jeopardy and enjoyed playing trivia games with her children and grandchildren at family gatherings.

She was the loving mother of Edward Michael (Diane) Grabowski, Jane (Ernie) Gillan and Suzanne Grabowski; cherished grandmother of Tonya, Laura, Lisa, Cole, Tim and Julie, 3 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Edward B. Grabowski.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Ruth, Marion, Barbara, and John.

Relatives and dear friends are invited to her visitation on Friday February 14, 2025 from 10-10:45 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church St. West Chester, PA 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com, followed by her Funeral Liturgy at 11am. Interment will follow at the All Souls Cemetery.
