Elaine M. Sheller

Elaine M. Sheller, 60, of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully Friday August 13, 2021 at Jennersville Regional Hospital in West Grove, PA.

Born April 12, 1961 at Chester County Hospital, she was the daughter of the late William J. Sheller and the late Catherine A. Dunleavy Sheller.

Elaine attended school at the Chester County Child Development Center where she also participated in Special Olympics. After graduating, Elaine worked for many years at Handi-Crafters.

She was a member of Saint Agnes Church.

Elaine enjoyed swimming. She spent many happy summers at West End Swim Club and she looked forward to her yearly vacations to Wildwood Crest, New Jersey with many relatives and family friends. From a very young age, Elaine loved music and family parties. Elaine was known for remembering everyone’s birthday. She was often found dancing and singing to her favorite songs. Elaine looked forward to weekly Bingo games at the Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed going to WWF wrestling matches and spending time at Mitch's gym.

She is survived by her sister, Maureen Sheller of West Chester, PA, her brothers William Eadie (Diane) and Donald Eadie, many nephews and nieces, her loving caregivers at Dalton House in Oxford where she resided for the past several years, and her many family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Elaine's friendly, joyful, loving nature and quick wit helped her make friends wherever she went. She will be greatly missed.

On Thursday August 19th, 2021, relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St., West Chester, PA 19380 followed by her Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm.

Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Handi-Crafters at 215 Barley Sheaf Rd, Thorndale, PA 19372.
