Eileen Maud Reeser passed peacefully away April 28, 2026/Coatesville, PA
Born in London, England, she was the daughter of the deceased William and Sarah (Frankson) Patrick. She is also predeceased by her brother, William Patrick Jr and sisters, Denise Patrick, Kathleen Bentley, Sheila Burnett, and Sylvia Angrave. She is survived by her husband Oscar Reeser; children, Tracy (Rosemarie), Kelly (Mark), and Keith; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers John Patrick and Alan Patrick; and sisters, Maureen Thomas, and Joanne Peaks.
She met her beloved husband while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in England. Their courtship led to marriage, and together they returned to the United States in 1962 to begin building a life rooted in love and dedication. They shared 64 years of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Over the years, she worked in a variety of roles, including at a sewing factory, a cleaning company, and Pepperidge Farm, where her strong work ethic and reliability were evident to all who knew her. She was a devoted member of Olive Street Presbyterian Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed showing her English relatives the sights of the United States during their visits. She found great joy in the outdoors, especially in tending to her large vegetable and flower gardens, which flourished under her care, and she had a special love for birds that she enjoyed watching and caring for throughout the seasons. An avid walker, she embraced an active lifestyle and found peace and contentment in the simple beauty of nature.
She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her deep love for family, and the simple, beautiful life she cultivated. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind. There is great comfort in knowing Eileen is now in the loving arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'” – John 11:25-26
