Edwin M. Carpenter, Jr.

Edwin M. Carpenter, Jr., 61 years old formally of West Chester and now residing in Earleville, MD passed away peacefully after a brief illness Thursday September 15, 2022 at Christiana Care Hospice in Newark.

He was the beloved husband of Kimberly Romano Carpenter also formally of West Chester.

Born January 16, 1961 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late Edwin Carpenter and Elaine Wilds Carpenter.

In addition to his wife and mother, Edwin is survived by his son, Dustin Carpenter (Christine), his daughter Megan Carpenter, his son James Baer, his grandchildren Lyanna and Ryan, sister Vicki (Rick), brothers Andy, Timmy (Niki) and Adam (Krista). 

Edwin grew up in West Chester, PA and graduated from West Chester East High School.

He worked as a Property Maintenance Supervisor for Wright MultiFamily for many years.

Edwin worked for a living but he still found time to appreciate the finer things in life. Edwin enjoyed boating, beaching, his Doberman’s, hosting BBQ’s and he especially loved his family and friends. Edwin loved problems because it meant he could come up with solutions. More times than not he would figure out any problem brought to him…it might be an unconventional solution but a solution nonetheless. Later in life he treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren who were very special to him.
