May 2, Edward “Ed” Steven Polgar, 82, of West Chester, PA, formerly of North Wales, PA. Born June 3,1937 in Cleveland, OH.

He was the beloved son of Hungarian immigrants, the late Florian and Helen Polgar (nee Kleri), a brother, Joe and sister Helen. In 1970, he moved to the Philadelphia area with his family.

Ed was the beloved husband of 53 years to Suzanne (nee Barr). Devoted father to Jennifer Vogel (Eric) Anthony Polgar (Stefanie) and Kathryn Schalleur (David). He is also survived by his twelve grandchildren and lovingly referred to them as the ‘Dirty Dozen’: Lucie, Jack, Sam, Will and Charlie Vogel; Parker, Sadie and Gage Polgar; and Ryan, Bailey, Andie and Duke Schalleur. They were the light of his life. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He had a love of life and it spread to all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be private. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
