Edward Harry Jones

Edward Harry Jones, 88 of Glen Mills, PA passed away Tuesday April 8th 2025 at the Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA. 

He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Betsy) Jones. 

Born February 17th, 1937, in Ridley Park, PA, he was the son of the late Paul Jones and the late Louise Woollen Jones. 

Ed grew up in Folcroft PA and attended Folcroft High School.

Edward was a member of The American Legion and the Delaware County Marine Corps League.

He enjoyed playing softball on many different leagues throughout the years including the over 80 league. He enjoyed crabbing, gardening and taking care of his yard. He also enjoyed spending time with his cat Dunkin.

Ed was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps, serving his country from March 21st, 1956 to March 23rd 1962. 

He is survived by his sister Irene Jones Kulp of Norwood PA.

A daughter BethAnn Jones of Palm Harbor FL, a son Edward S Jones, and a daughter Jennifer.

He is survived by a Grandson Joseph (Francina) of New Holland PA, a Grand daughter Alyssa Madden of Clearwater FL, Erica Madden of Palm Harbor FL and Alana Madden of Palm Harbor FL.

Great Grand Children Freea and Conrad of New Holland PA. 

Services and Interment will be private.
