Edward A. Cunius

Edward Anthony Cunius, 69 of West Chester, PA passed away Thursday August 29, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Marybeth Cunius.

Born June 23, 1955 in West Chester, PA he was the son of the late John W. Cunius Jr. and the late Lillian K. Costello Cunius.

Ed grew up in West Chester, PA and graduated from Bishop Shanahan High School.

He was a lifelong entrepreneur and visionary with a creative spirit who transformed every home he touched into a work of art.

Ed enjoyed cooking, traveling, boating, and custom woodworking. He was an artist and a passionate Philadelphia sports fan. Above all, he found joy spending time with his family and friends.  He was a man who lived life to the fullest, always bringing happiness and laughter to those around him.  His love for music, good times, and celebration will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, he was a loving father to his children: Samantha (Ryan Kemp) Cunius and their daughter, Penelope; Kyle (Mike) MacNeal and their children, Aaron, Noah, and Alexandra; Kelly (Jason) Krugh and their children, Ruby, Olivia, and Brooks; and Sean (Courtney) Cooney. He is also survived by his stepmother, Ann Cunius; his siblings: Anne Marie (the late Joseph) Corcoran, Lillian C. (William) Moore, John W. (Peggy) Cunius, III, Edie (Keith) McCarty, and Colette D. (the late Luigi) Sarmento; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister, Linda K. Cunius.

Relatives and friends are invited to his remembrance on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 9:00 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.
