Doris Lynn Moore of Cheyney

Doris Lynn Moore, 78 years old of Cheyney, PA passed away Tuesday March 15, 2022 at the Paoli Hospital in Paoli.

She was the wife of Alvin V. Moore with whom had shared 55 years of marriage with.

Born November 19, 1943 in Dover, DE she was the daughter of the late Harry McMullen and the late Alice Florence Twaddell McMullen.

Doris graduated from Media High School in 1961. Upon graduation she studied education at the West Chester State College graduating in 1965 with a master’s degree in education. She spent 10 years at the New Garden Elementary School, which is a part of the Kennett Consolidated School.

As a faithful member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church for 29 years, Doris taught Sunday School and did communion for 10 years.

Doris will be missed. May God bless her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Kevin Moore.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday March 25, 2022, from 9-9:45am at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 4 Westtown Road, Thornton, PA 19373 followed by her Funeral Service at 10am.  

Interment will be held in Birmingham Lafayette Cemetery West Chester PA.
