Dominick L. Mattioni

Dominick L. Mattioni, Age 83, passed away, Saturday, May 3, 2025 after a three-year battle with Frontal Lobe Dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease.

Born in West Chester, June 21, 1941, the son of the late Victor & Jennie Mattioni.

Dominick is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Deborah Mattioni- Conner, son Michael Mattioni, grandchildren Jordan & Trey Conner, his sister Frances (Chuck) Miller, brother Victor Jr. (Dot) Mattioni and niece’s and nephew’s.

Dominick was a graduate of Bishop Shanahan HS class of 1959. United States Marine Reserve from 1959-1967.  He worked at Philadelphia Electric, gas division, for many years, was an Independent Stockbroker and a NASD Arbitrator, worked part-time with his brother, Victor, with Mattioni Electric.   He also taught Seibu-Kan Karate at the WC YMCA.   Once retired, Dominick got into volunteering and through the years he volunteered for Threshold Organization, Youth Mentoring Partnership and his greatest love was volunteering for the Marine Corpe League of Delaware County as Senior Vice Commandant.  Dominick was also a member of the Men of Malvern retreat since 1973 & a member of the Kimberton Fish & Game Assoc. where he enjoyed going to the gun range to practice.  He was a strong advocate of the 2nd amendment and his legal right to bear arms. Dom was very passionate about his Hardcore Physical Workouts for many years.  His gym was his garage and his front yard.  You can find some of these workouts on youtube under:  Ideaman99.   When he wasn’t working out you would find him sitting at his piano/keyboard playing his 50’s & 60’s Doo Wop  Music.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 9:30 am - 10:45 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street West Chester, PA 19380, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.
